Who is sitting out for this one?
We’re at about ninety minutes before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings have released their inactive lists for today’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting out of this one.
Detroit Lions
- LB Derrick Barnes
- WR Antoine Green
- CB Steven Gilmore
- CB Jerry Jacobs
- DT Brodric Martin
- TE Brock Wright
No significant surprises on the injury report for the Lions, as they had already declared several players out for today’s game. Barnes is a starter at linebacker but the rest of the inactives for Detroit are backups.
Minnesota Vikings
- S Lewis Cine
- QB Josh Dobbs (emergency QB)
- CB Byron Murphy
- TE Nick Muse
- WR Jalen Nailor
- OT Brian O’Neill
- OL Chris Reed
O’Neill will miss his second consecutive game, with David Quessenberry stepping in to start once again. Murphy is going to be a significant loss in this one and hopefully the Vikings can do something to mitigate it.
