Colts LB Zaire Franklin to announce Indy’s 2nd and 3rd round draft picks on Friday night

The AFC’s reigning leading tackler will be taking on Friday night’s NFL Draft—from the podium, announcing the newest Colts!

Indianapolis Colts starting linebacker Zaire Franklin will reportedly announce the team’s 2nd and 3rd round ‘Day 2’ picks from Detroit on Friday night, starting at 7 PM EST (via The 33rd Team’s Ari Meirov).

Those picks are currently the 46th (Round 2) and the 82nd pick (Round 3) overall respectively in this year’s NFL Draft—but that could certainly change by the time the Colts are expected to be on the draft clock at either spot.

The AFC’s reigning leading tackler could follow in the line of other former Colts greats including Pat McAfee (“future Hall of Famer Bobby Okereke!”) and Reggie Wayne (who called out the Tennessee Titans), of announcing the Horseshoe’s newest members in style.
