AEW superstar and Executive VP Cody Rhodes issued a short statement on his Twitter this evening alerting fans that he and Tony Schiavone have been working on commentary for this Tuesday’s airing of AEW Dark. Rhodes had joined Schiavone doing play-by-play on Wednesday’s Dynamite in the absence of Taz, Excalibur, and Jim Ross. The American Nightmare also teases a big announcement on tomorrow’s episode of the “Road To” Youtube series.
He writes, “Got to work with my guy @tonyschiavone24 today in the booth some more for AEW:DARK, also…pretty cool announcement coming to you guys tomorrow on “Road To…” Hint: it’s not the video game, but it may be the other thing fans have been clamoring for.”
