It’s now confirmed that analyst CM Punk will return to WWE Backstage on next Tuesday’s episode.
As seen below, Punk responded to the announcement on Twitter and wrote, “[hand waving emoji] no cornballs allowed”
On a related note, actor and WWE friend Stephen Amell was set for the “Promo School” segment on last night’s WWE Backstage episode, but he did not appear. Amell noted on Twitter that he’s suffering from an injury, but will be back soon.
“Just a quick note that I won’t be able to appear on #WWEBackstage tonight. Total bummer but I pinched a nerve in my back. On the mend, but wasn’t well enough for Promo School. I’ll be back. Promise,” Amell wrote.
