The return of a 1st rounder and three extra picks on Day 3
The 2024 NFL draft is officially behind us. The Cleveland Browns added six players with their six selections. How many will make the team’s loaded roster remains to be seen but DT Michael Hall Jr. and OL Zak Zinter lead this year’s draft class for the team.
With the Deshaun Watson trade now complete, the Browns enter the 2024 season with a first-round pick available in the upcoming NFL draft. Cleveland has traded away two of their Day 3 picks next year (5th and 7th rounds) but has received three others (two in the 6th and one in the 7th) for a total of eight selections currently available in 2025:
- 1st round
- 2nd round
- 3rd round
- 4th round
- 6th round
- 6th round – From the Detroit Lions in the Donovan Peoples-Jones trade
- 6th round – From the Minnesota Vikings in the Za’Darius Smith pick swap
- 7th round – From the Vikings in the Smith pick swap
Given GM Andrew Berry’s aggressiveness, it could be helpful to have the full allotment of draft picks trade discussions as the 2024 offseason continues or at the NFL trade deadline, which has been moved back.
