Trey Brown is staying in Cincinnati.

It appears the Cincinnati Bengals will keep Trey Brown in the team’s front office for at least one more season.

With the NFL Draft concluding, the New England Patriots are now searching for their next top football executive, which will effectively be the team’s general manager, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.

Apparently, Brown was in the running for that job, but he’s declined a request to interview for the job, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Brown was previously a scout for New England from 2010-12. He later had stints working with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013-19), the Birmingham Iron (2019), and the Saint Louis BattleHawks (2020) before becoming a scout for the Bengals in 2021.

In 2022, Brown was promoted to senior personnel executive, and he’s served in that role ever since. He previously drew interest from the Las Vegas Raiders in their GM search this year.
