25 TCC goals

Last summer, Robert Lewandowski left Bayern Munich for FC Barcelona. The Blaugrana paid the sum of 45 million euros to attract the 34-year-old Polish striker, who then signed a current contract until June 2026.

Since his arrival at Camp Nou, the former Borussia Dortmund fireworker has scored 25 goals in 31 games in all competitions, including 15 goals in 20 La Liga games. Hit in the left thigh, the native of Warsaw was not on the score sheet against FC Valence (1-0, 24th day of La Liga), last Sunday.

“I hope to be here for many years”

The number 9 of Barça took advantage of an interview with the newspaper Sport to take stock of his future with FC Barcelona. Happy under the orders of Xavi, Robert Lewandowski is thinking of registering for the long term on the other side of the Pyrenees. “I don’t think about the number of years I will be at Barca. I still think I can play a few more years at a high level, but I don’t know how long it will be. I’m sure it won’t be just one or two. It will be more. I hope I can be here for many years.”

Leader of the standings with nine points ahead of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona visits Athletic Bilbao this Sunday, on behalf of the 25th day of La Liga. Eliminated by Manchester United in the Europa League play-offs, Ousmane Dembélé’s partners won against Real Madrid in the first leg of the King’s Cup (1-0), at Santiago-Bernabeu, before the second leg at the Camp Nou on April 5.
