Backstage Notes on AEW’s Elite Deletion Match, AEW Asks for Pre-Full Gear Photos To Be Removed, More

AEW is currently preparing for tomorrow’s post-Full Gear edition of Dynamite on TNT. Fightful Select has just reported the following backstage notes from the Full Gear weekend:

* Some people associated with AEW requested that photos of the Full Gear set be removed after they leaked online before the event. Several people who attended the nearby NCAA college football game between Florida and Georgia at TIAA Bank Field were able to sneak looks at the Full Gear set before the show began

* The AEW ring was taken down immediately after Full Gear. Some fans have asked if the ring at Daily’s Place stays up full-time since AEW runs the venue every so often and will be running there multiple times this week

* Many of the AEW wrestlers are currently in Jacksonville for a long loop of filming

* The Elite Deletion match between Sammy Guevara and winner Matt Hardy was filmed about a week before the pay-per-view. It had heavy input from several of the wrestlers involved. The match received positive feedback and reactions backstage
