Live service games often rely pretty heavily on skins but there’s a flow to these. Developers like Blizzard like to hold things back, so they can build up to the new skins gradually and reveal them at the perfect moment. That’s unless we get a sneak pick, with some Overwatch leaked skins.
In the past few days, Blizzard has sprung a huge leak. While normally Overwatch news isn’t really dominated by things like leaks, there’s been a big one here. We’ve seen a good handful of new looks for various characters drop. These all come from a survey handed out by Blizzard. What can expect to come to the game in the future from these Overwatch Leaked skins?
Overwatch Leaked Skins Showcase New Looks for Characters
In a recent Reddit post, one used has exposed a ton of upcoming Overwatch skins. The user, u/transflection, has revealed they received a survey invite from Blizzard. This is a standard way for players to get data from players about what they’d like to see in the game’s future. However, once into this survey they discovered Blizzard was showcasing tons of upcoming skins.

The Overwatch developer’s designs and early concepts from upcoming skins are clear to see here. Some highlights are the spacey Zen lo and an interesting change for Kiriko. A lot of players are pretty excited to see these new looks for their mains.
Not everyone has something to get hyped up for with the Overwatch leaked skins though. One undeniable aspect of these leaks is that some characters are more favored from Blizzard than others. While it’s disappointing if you main an OW Hero with fewer looks, it does make sense from a business perspective. Some Overwatch characters sell more skins. They’re more popular with the skin purchasers, so they’re getting more looks available.
These Overwatch skin leaks are some of the most exciting we’ve seen in a while. Hopefully they start to appear in the game’s store pretty soon!
