Ricky Ponting and Stephen Fleming

The tenure of Rahul Dravid, presently serving as the coach of the Indian cricket team, is scheduled to conclude following the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2024. While Dravid retains the option to reapply for his position, there will not be an automatic contract extension this time around.

Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has suggested the possibility of hiring a foreign coach for Team India. However, the final decision will be reached through a thorough interview process involving all potential candidates.

The BCCI, India’s cricket governing body, is actively seeking individuals interested in assuming the role of the next coach for the Indian team. The application deadline is set for May 27th at 6 pm IST.
