250 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2023 SEATTLE SUPERCROSS

The 250 West coast division is back to the races this weekend in the Pacific Northwest at the Lumen Field stadium in Seattle, Washington. Jett Lawrence is the points leader in the 250SX West class with RJ Hampshire and Cameron McAdoo trailing him in second and third. The weather has been wet in Seattle, but the Dirt Wurx crew did a great job of managing the track by covering it with tarps. There are also privateer riders like Max Miller and Hunter Schlosser who are returning to the 250 West class after riding their 250s in the 450 class on the east coast to get some more experience, they certainly will be more confident now that they are back racing against guys on the same displacement bikes.

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS: GROUP A SESSION 1

The track started out muddy for free practice, but it’s looking good now with the sun out. 

The 250 West riders hit the track for free practice in the mud, but now that the sun is out and more riders have been off the track, the conditions are much better. The first qualifying session already has deep ruts, but it’s not as soft and muddy as everyone expected. Cameron McAdoo was quick early on with Hampshire and Oldenburg behind him after the first four minutes. With four minutes left to go, Jett Lawrence laid down a heater lap, going almost a full second faster than Hampshire to take the top spot.

Carson Mumford is making his debut with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team this weekend.  He’s in the 250 B practice because this is his first race of the season.

Mitchell Oldenburg is running fourth in points in the 250 West division.
