Will the Miami Dolphins draft one of these playmakers at #21 overall?

We are now two days away from the 2024 NFL Draft, and rumors are starting to heat up for your Miami Dolphins.

Yesterday, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reported that teams are circling the Dolphins as the prime landing spot for speedy Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy. He never really said whether that was for round one or two, but the internet lost its mind at the thought of Mike McDaniel landing another speedy receiver.

But this wasn’t the first time the Dolphins were linked to Worthy.

Earlier on Monday, and something I admittedly overlooked, was a report from sports agent Drew Rosenhaus regarding what he’s hearing the Dolphins will do at 21. In his weekly spot with Josh Moser, Rosenhaus also listed Worthy as being on Miami’s radar.

Rosenhaus mentioned three other players as well, including Duke’s Graham Barton, Florida State’s Jared Verse, and a personal favorite of mine, Laiatu Latu. Add in Worthy, and those are the four players the South Florida-based agent is hearing linked to Miami in round one.

I don’t know how you feel, but out of these four options, I think my preference would be on the offensive line. Not because Barton is the best player available, but because deep down in my heart of heart, I know Miami needs to upgrade the offensive line (I’d pick Latu). That said, the team has set things up to go with the best player available, which makes Thursday’s pick such a mystery.

Will it be one of these four players?

If you go based on team need, there’s a very good chance that one of these players could hear their name called on Thursday night when the Dolphins are on the clock. Then again, maybe it’s safety Cooper DeJean, defensive tackle Johnny Newton, wide receiver Brian Thomas, or one of the other plethora of offensive linemen.

I’m not sure who will be the pick @ 21, but I’m anxious as h3ll to find out!

What are your thoughts on Drew Rosenhaus’ report about the Dolphins’ legitimate interest in Xavier Worthy, Jared Verse, and Graham Barton? Which of these players would you run to the podium to select if all four players were available? Who will be the pick at 21 overall? Let us know in the comments section below!
