The Denver Broncos have drafted Bo Nix in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s time to look at some highlights!

After months of prognostication and guesswork, the most reasonable target the Denver Broncos had was the guy they ended up taking with that 12th overall pick. Oregon’s Bo Nix flew under the radar as the sixth overall quarterback taken in the 2024 NFL Draft, but Denver still had to snag him at #12. No defensive players went in the first fourteen selections, which was an historic never-before-seen event in the draft.

At Oregon, Nix finished his final collegiate season completed 77.4% of his passes for 4,508 yards and a whooping 45 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions. He is a bit older at 24 for a rookie, but looks like a guy who can come into Denver under Sean Payton’s tutelage and start Week 1.

Get hyped, Broncos Country! We have a first-round rookie quarterback back in Denver for the first time since the failed experiment that was Paxton Lynch in 2016-17.
