2023 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 3 OF 17)

The 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season has already clicked off three Rounds and the Anaheim 2 Supercross was another night of epic racing. The Triple Crown formatted race came at the perfect time in our schedule after Jett Lawrence and Eli Tomac both won the first two rounds. Consistency is key in the triple crown racing and the unique track layout of Anaheim 2 also created more close racing and opportunities for creative passes.

250 WEST COAST POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 3 OF 9)

Jett Lawrence 2023 Anaheim 2 Supercross-3077Jett Lawrence retains the red plate and extends his points lead.

Triple Crown format racing always makes for an exciting battle and once again, there were countless crashes in the 250 class. It was heart breaking to see so many riders take such hard diggers, but it certainly shook things up on the results sheet. Rj Hampshire won the first Main, but crashed hard in second one and struggled in the final one. Cameron McAdoo, riding beat up from his qualifying crash, had some tip overs and salvaged his night. Pierce Brown had crashes, Enzo Lopes had crashes, Max Vohland had crashes, Jett Lawrence had crashes, Phil Nicoletti crashed on the last lap of the third main and, yes, even more than that hit the dirt.

In the end, Jett Lawrence’s 3-6-1 scores weren’t enough to get the win over Levi Kitchen’s 4-2-2, but he still extended his points lead over McAdoo and Hampshire.
