Tragedy struck in New Zealand yesterday. At least 49 people have been killed and nearly 20 more injured in a pair of mass shootings in the city of Christchurch in an investigation that is currently still ongoing. Reports state that a single 20-year old male yet to be named, has been taken into custody and charged with murder. He is expected to appear at court tomorrow morning. A total of four suspects have been arrested (3 men 1 woman), but their involvement has yet to be determined.
Several WWE stars, including Kevin Owens, Mustafa Ali, and Nikki Cross took to social medial to express their anger, sadness, and condolences to all the victims of this horrific incident.
2 years ago, someone opened fire in a mosque in my home province of Quebec. I feel now the same way I did that night…ashamed and so very sad.
I’m not from New Zealand but we’re all in this together.
My family and I’s thoughts are with everyone affected by these horrible acts.

The violence and loss of human life from #christchurch mosque shooting is a horrific reminder of what hate propaganda can do.
Stop hate propaganda.

I woke up today and felt angry. Bitter. Sad. Infuriated over the loss of human life. Trying to make sense of the senseless. Then I realised, that’s not what we need. Love is our strength. Only light can drive out the darkness. Stop the hate. https://t.co/r6k1BN2oxN
