WWE has been producing shorter matches as of late so that no one “over stays their welcome.” The idea is to get everyone out there and done quicker than usual during this coronavirus issue. Even the main event, which was longer than most matches on the card, was shorter than usual main events.
WWE has been doing things differently lately to try to keep things as safe as possible for their roster. Every brand has two weeks in between taping shows and wrestlers are encouraged to stay local while they take shelter. Shorter matches is another attempt to keep everyone safe.
