WWE NXT’s numbers dip against NBA Play-In Tournament

The ratings and viewership data are in for the Apr. 16 episode of WWE NXT.

According to Wrestlenomics, the show averaged 625,000 viewers and scored a 0.17 rating among 18-49 year olds. Those are 3 and 10 percent off what NXT did the previous Tuesday, respectively.

Some of that can be attributed to the show settling back into its usual ratings groove after getting pre and post-Stand & Deliver boosts. But some of it is likely due to going up against the NBA Playoffs Play-In Tournament. The Los Angeles Lakers/New Orleans Pelicans game that aired opposite NXT on TNT was first on cable with a 1.46 demo rating from a total audience of 1.97 million.
