WWE superstar Kevin Owens made a shocking return at tonight’s Takeover WarGames event from Chicago, where the former NXT champion helped Team Ciampa defeat the Undisputed Era in the headlining bout. In the post-show live stream Triple H was asked about Owens’status with the yellow-and-black brand, a question he was unsure about. The Game says that Owens is still scheduled to compete for Team Raw at tomorrow’s Survivor Series, but there is no guarantee that he can be trusted, nor is there a guarantee that he’ll return to NXT. In a media call, Triple H called the return an epic moment in the brand’s history.
I promised an epic moment tonight, I think Kevin Owens more than delivered and blew the roof off this building. I think just knowing Kevin as well as I know Kevin, this was probably one of the biggest moments he’s had in a long, long time. It was awesome to see him in an NXT right again.
