AEW’s weekly TNT show will be airing live on the West Coast from 5-7pm each week, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It was noted that TNT confirmed the West Coast airing.
The show will air live from 8-10pm EST on the East Coast. AEW will air live on the West Coast because it is treated as sports programming.
The Observer noted that this will give WWE NXT an edge in the Wednesday night ratings since it airs from 8-10pm in primetime on the West Coast.
There are currently no plans to air an AEW replay in prime time on the West Coast like TNT did for WCW Nitro.
As we’ve noted, it looks like the weekly TNT show will be called “All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite” based on trademarks and guide listings. That name should be confirmed soon.
