The WCG crew shares some thoughts on Chicago’s 2024 schedule in this multipart roundtable.

Our WCG crew is running through a 2024 Chicago Bears schedule roundtable series, and we’re up to topic number four. Our first two prompts were our selections for the toughest stretch of games and the easiest stretch, and yesterday’s was our favorite game on the schedule. Which makes today’s topic…

What is your least favorite game on the 2024 Bears schedule?

And here’s what we had to say…

Jeff Berckes: None – I’m excited about all of them.

Josh Sunderbruch: I’m a cynic by nature. Until I see this squad actually come out of the lockers and play 60 minutes of good, capable football, I’ll be waiting for the worst. That means that I’ll watch the first game with a low-level amount of dread until the Bears prove me wrong.

Aaron Leming: The obvious answer feels like Green Bay because when was the last time there was a fun game in that rivalry? But if I’m being a little more “creative,” I would say it’s the 49ers game. Going on the road in Week 14 to face the defending NFC Champs feels like a daunting if not impossible task. Sure, it could serve as a good measuring stick game, but that does not feel like a game many fans come away happy from.

Erik Duerrwaechter: I really hate the idea of wrapping their regular season up in Green Bay for the second consecutive year. The schedule makers have an exceptionally bad habit of repeating the same nonsense over and over again. Whenever common sense becomes common again is anyone’s guess at this point.

Sam Householder: I am so jaded and scarred from the past decades that I really can’t stand finishing the year at Green Bay. I need to see the Bears beat that damn team three times over two years before I’ll truly believe that something has changed in that division rivalry. I want that week 18 game to be meaningless because I fear getting my heart ripped out again. Caleb Williams: Be the change fans want to see. Rip Green Bay’s hearts out for a change, so I will no longer dread seeing “Green Bay” on the schedule.

Lester A. Wiltfong Jr.: Right now, it’s the Thanksgiving game. The Detroit Lions are a good football team, and they’re hungry to get back to the NFC Championship game.

Jacob Infante: The Week 6 Jaguars game in London. Sorry to all of our WCG readers overseas, but I’m not fond of spending a home game to play in a country where their opponents have essentially adopted themselves as the NFL’s part-time European team. Plus, I don’t like waking up early on Sundays.

Ryan Droste: The game in London against the Jaguars. It stinks that the game is a “home” game for the Bears despite London essentially being the Jags’ second home. Plus, I’m not a huge fan of the early start time. And the last time the Bears played over there, things didn’t go so well. Let’s hope they pull out a better performance in front of all the British Bears fans this time around.

Jack R Salo: London, against the Jaguars. I generally don’t love the NFL London games, mostly due to the start time.

Things I like to do when I watch a Bears game: Drink a beer.

Things I don’t like to do at 8 AM: Drink a beer.

Also, my fantasy football team usually suffers at least one late scratch left in the lineup, so yeah, I’m a little bitter.

Now it’s your turn. What is your least favorite game on the Bears’ schedule?
