During an appearance on “Chasing Glory With Lilian Garcia”, Victoria discussed how she feels as an older wrestler in the business. Here’s what she had to say:
The alternative is death. So every year my birthday comes, I celebrate because birthdays are not guaranteed. You know, when I was in Memphis Championship Wrestling, Jerry Lawler’s school, they had this surprise birthday for me, and I think I was just turning 30. And someone goes, ‘I wouldn’t say anything to the company of your age.’ I started at 30; I was considered old in the entertainment business. And I’m like, ‘What? I look better at 30 than I did at 18 or 21.’
I’m still that badass when I started but I’m realizing more and more I need to take care of myself. I’m ecstatic to be done and continue onto another adventure.
