We’ve just wrapped up another year of the Arc World Tour. It means new champions for each major Arc game and that pros will have to get grinding to qualify for next year’s finals soon enough. It’s also came with an announcement about the future of Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising though. The next DLC fighter. The new character with a confirmed to come is Vane.
The latest DLC character in only the second for the first season of DLC. As Granblue Fantasy Versus originated in the larger franchise, most of the DLC characters are coming from this world. That doesn’t make new character additions any less exciting though. Vane is the next character to arrive, when can we expect them to hit the game though?

Vane Granblue Fantasy Rising Versus Release Date
Vane will be the next DLC character to come in Season 1 for Granblue. He’ll be added in an upcoming update the Ver1.30 GBFVR patch notes. This will also contain some other changes to the game, but a new character being added is typically the most exciting parts of these patches.
The next update will arrive on April 2nd. The Vane release date for GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising will be on the same day. This release means we’re lined up to start hearing more about Beatrix, the next character on the release schedule. There are still other slots remaining though, so Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising fans will have a lot to play in coming months.
Granblue’s latest character should spice thing sup competitively. The game has just concluded its first major final at the Arc World Tour for 2023. 2024 will mark its first full year as a fighting game esport though. These new additions to the cast should make it even more find than the few months of early competitive we’ve already seen.
