What is VALORANT Premier?
VALORANT Premier is a competitive mode that allows players to create or join teams of up to seven members and compete in matches that follow the same rules as competitive but with some additional features.
These features include map pick/ban phases, timeouts, and weekly tournaments and playoffs. This particular mode is also the gateway to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024, which is the official esports circuit of the game.
How to Play in VALORANT Premier?
To play in VALORANT Premier, players need to meet some requirements. First of all, they need to verify their identity account via SMS verification. After that, one must complete their ranked placements at any point in their account lifetime. The final requirement is to have an account in good standing, which means they are not currently banned or restricted from playing or communicating in VALORANT. Once these requirements are met, players can enroll for it from the homepage navigation or the main top navigation in the client.
After enrolling in VALORANT Premier, players can invite their friends or other players to join their team. Additionally, you can also join an existing team. Teams can have up to seven players, but only five can play in a match.
Teams can queue together during the match queue period, which is usually from 6 to 10 PM local time. Matches are best-of-one, and the map is decided by a pick/ban phase. Each team can also use one timeout per match, which pauses the game for 60 seconds.

All VALORANT Premier Ranks
There are 21 Divisions in the Premier mode that are further split up into a total of 5 groups. Thus, the VALORANT Premier Ranks are as follows:
- Contender
- Elite 1-5
- Advanced 1-5
- Intermediate 1-5
- Open 1-5
Starting from Episode 8 Act 1, the standings of all Divisions will be visible to everyone. Teams with five or more members can see their division after picking a zone. However, this is not final until you play your first match. Also, your division may vary if you add or remove team members.
