Following a time-limit draw with Darby Allin at AEW Fyter Fest (live coverage here), Cody Rhodes was attacked by Shawn Spears, formerly known as Tye Dillinger in WWE. Spears smashed Rhodes over the head with a steel chair, busting him open badly. Rhodes would be escorted from the ring by his wife Brandi Rhodes, MJF, Dean Malenko, and members of SCU.
Now, in an update from AEW, Rhodes has had 12 staples put into his head, but fortunately nothing severe, including zero concussions. Check it out below.
