Todd McShay has apparently figured out the entire top 11 picks.

The last 24 hours of the draft are a whirlwind. Sometimes clean information surfaces, like the rumor that the Las Vegas Raiders were going to make a surprising pick — who wound up being pass-rusher Clelin Ferrell — with the fourth choice in the 2019 draft. Other times, it’s complete hogwash, like the Will Levis first-round hype from last year.

So let’s see what credible sources are saying today, as we’re just a few hours from the Chicago Bears being on the clock in Detroit.

It seems like Todd McShay, former ESPN commentator, has figured out the entire top 11. What’s most interesting here to me, as a Packers fan, is that New England is likely to select quarterback Drake Maye of North Carolina — who is also allegedly the Minnesota Vikings’ top option. Anything that will throw a wrench in the Vikings’ plan is good to me.

“Team’s boards” is an importance caveat here from The Athletic’s Russini, as boards can vary drastically. If I were to guess, this means that teams probably want to get to around 18th to 20th overall to ensure that they make a selection in what they perceive to be the second tier of the draft.

Trade talk! There’s a lot of speculation that the player that the Los Angeles Rams are trying to move up for is tight end Brock Bowers. I can only imagine how head coach Sean McVay would use the move tight end in his offense after typically building his passing games around true Y inline tight ends in his time in Los Angeles.

Easily the most-mocked player to the Packers this offseason was Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean, who Green Bay general manager stated the team considers to be a cornerback, slot and safety at the NFL level. Based on ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler’s reporting, it seems unlikely that Gutekunst will be able to nab him at #25, if the team just wants to sit back and pick.

FOX’s Jay Glazer is one of the premier newsbreakers in the NFL. If he says that Jayden Daniels is going to be drafted second overall, you can assume the draft really starts when the New England Patriots go on the clock with the third pick.
