SRH sets a new record for highest team total in the IPL

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is synonymous with big sixes and explosive batting displays. In the ongoing edition, the bar has been raised even higher with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) rewriting the record books for the highest team scores in IPL history.

Here’s a look at the top 5 team totals in IPLT20:

1. SRH shatters records

SRH holds the top spot with a phenomenal 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 15th, 2024. This surpassed their own previous record set earlier this season.

2. SRH doubles down

SRH features twice in the top 5, showcasing their dominant batting form. Their earlier record-breaking knock of 277/3 came against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 27th, 2024.

4. LSG joins the party

The young Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) haven’t missed out on the high-scoring trend. Their 257/5 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mohali on April 28, 2023 secures them a spot in the top 5.
