AEW President & CEO Tony Khan is reportedly taking on more of a creative role in the company, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported this week that people in AEW have been having fun working on the creative aspects of the current storyline for AEW World Tag Team Champion Hangman Page, which is one that Khan has worked closely on and contributed to heavily.
Khan has reportedly evolved from being the person with the “final say” creatively, to a person who is developing more stories and ideas of his own, and being more outspoken about other people’s ideas. Word is that Khan’s creative input has been received positively by other people on the roster.
Regarding Britt Baker’s heel turn, that idea is credited to AEW World Tag Team Champion & Executive Vice President Kenny Omega. Her recent promo with the lines about Tony Schiavone were said to have come from Khan.
