This is just the first of many championships for Jade Cargill

Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report.

In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Backlash in France and the conclusion of the 2024 WWE Draft, a lot of fortunes were changed.

With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week:

Stock Down #3: New Catch Republic

Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate didn’t make the cut for the televised portion of the WWE Draft. They’ll be moving over to the Raw roster starting this week, but they left SmackDown as losers in a tag team match against Authors of Pain.

Stock Down #2: Damage CTRL

Nothing has been going right for Damage CTRL over the last month. The group followed up their losses at WrestleMania 40 by losing in an 8-woman tag team match on SmackDown in France, before Asuka and Kairi Sane then lost the WWE women’s tag titles the next day at Backlash. Like New Catch Republic, the group is now moving over to Raw where they are looking for a fresh start and some different opponents.

Stock Down #1: Angel

Legado del Fantasma’s Angel was booked like a low card jobber against LA Knight on SmackDown. The megastar beat him with relative ease before beefing with Santos Escobar about the King of the Ring tournament, making Angel look like a rather ineffective wrestler and henchman in the process.

Now let’s see whose stock increased the most this week:

Stock Up #3: The Bloodline

Solo Sikoa’s vision of The Bloodline got even stronger at Backlash, with Tanga Loa joining the group as its newest member, much to the surprise of Paul Heyman. It looks like WWE is building to a pretty huge moment whenever Roman Reigns returns to confront Solo, so this group will be booked to dominate in the meantime.

Stock Up #2: Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair

Cargill and Belair lived up to their super team hype by defeating the Kabuki Warriors and winning the WWE women’s tag team titles at Backlash. Considering how Jade and Bianca were both first round picks in the WWE Draft, it’s hard to see how any other team in the division can hang with them in the ring, creating a scenario where they can probably hold onto these belts until their inevitable breakup. As for Jade, this is her first title win in WWE, and you should probably get used to seeing her with championship gold around her waist.

Stock Up #1: Braun Strowman

Strowman was drafted to Raw and then returned to save Jey Uso by chokeslamming Finn Balor. Braun has been out of action for one year due to neck fusion surgery, but it looks like the Monster Among Men is walking right back into an upper card spot, mixing it up with the likes of Logan Paul and The Judgment Day.

There you have it, Cagesiders. Whose stock do you think changed the most this week?
