Some fans hardly pay attention to the draft, while others, mostly the diehards like us, wait for it as one of the big events of the NFL calendar every year. Our Miami Dolphins began the offseason by losing some of their best players right off the bat before going on a free agency signing spree to plug as many of the holes that had been made as possible. Now, they have drafted a handful of players in a draft that saw them a bit hamstrung, given that they had no picks for two of the draft’s middle rounds. Now, the rush to sign the best of what is left, the undrafted free agents as possible, begins.
Tonight’s question of the day will not be another post about how you feel about the actual draft picks but more of an overview of the whole picture and the people pulling the strings for this team.
So tonight’s question of the day is, given what you have seen thus far this offseason, throughout the free agency period and the draft combined, how do you feel about head coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier holding the reigns of this franchise going forward? Are you comfortable with both going forward, maybe just one of them or maybe neither? Do they have this team going in the right direction, or is this another example of the Dolphins just spinning their wheels, and there needs to be major change again at the top?
