The Open Field: Are there any Seahawks you wish the team had retained this offseason?

Seattle let go of some major contributors in free agency and as cap casualties.

We’re in the dead-ish part of the NFL offseason. The free agency frenzy is over, the NFL Draft is done, minicamps are underway, and the only major event from now until training camp is the release of the regular season schedule.

It’s been a memorable and busy offseason for the Seattle Seahawks. The first major departure was head coach Pete Carroll, then we had high-profile exits on the roster. Safeties Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams were among the cap casualties, while the likes of Jordyn Brooks, Damien Lewis, and Bobby Wagner were not re-signed in free agency.

Here’s a reminder of the notable Seahawks who have left this offseason and/or remain unsigned:

Are there any players on here you wish the Seahawks had kept? It’s okay if you’re content with all of them leaving. Let us know in the comments! Presumably Lewis, Brooks, Adams, Diggs, Wagner, and even Parkinson will be the dominant names in this discussion. As a side question, would you want Seattle to bring back any of the currently unsigned players on cheaper contracts?
