During their entrance for their match against The Best Friends in the AEW Tag Team Title Tournament, SCU was attacked on the ramp by The Lucha Brothers. The attack saw Pentagon deliver a cradle piledriver on the ramp to Christopher Daniels.
The referee immediately threw up an “X”, The Young Bucks came running out to ringside and Daniels was carted off on a stretcher. The end result is that Daniels is unable to compete and has been replaced by Scorpio Sky.
