Persona 3 Reload is a 2024 remake of 2006’s Persona 3. Much like the original game, Persona 3 Reload features plenty of romance options for players to develop over the course of the game. If you’re not sure where to start, we’ve got you covered with our complete Persona 3 Reload romance guide!
How to start a romance in Persona 3 Reload

Before you can engage in any Persona 3 Reload romance, you must first raise your chosen option’s Social Link Rank to Level 9. This will take time, and every romance option is different in how you raise their Social Link Rank. Not to worry – we’re going to show you how to do this for each romance option in Persona 3 Reload.
All Persona 3 Reload romance options
There are seven Persona 3 Reload romance options in total. Here’s the full list, including how to make them your girlfriend in-game:
Chihiro Fushimi

Requirements:
- Join the student council on April 27th
- Talk to Chihiro three times after joining the student council
Chihiro Fushimi is the student council treasurer at Gekkoukan High School. You must first join the student council yourself before you can begin to develop Chihiro’s Social Link Rank, and it can take quite a long time for this Persona 3 Reload romance to blossom.
If you’re willing to put the time in, it can be extremely rewarding to watch Chiriro’s confidence flourish. At Social Link Rank level 9, you can finally ask her to be your girlfriend.
Mitsuru Kirijo

Requirements:
- Academics Rank 6
Although you encounter Mitsuru Kirijo early in the story, she won’t pay you any mind until later in the game. This is because to unlock her Social Link Rank, you must reach Academics Rank 6 until she deems you intelligent enough to befriend.
As the president of Gekkoukan High School’s student council, she is arguably the smartest of all the Persona 3 romance options. This means that building up her Social Link Rank requires you to get on her wavelength, or you don’t have a chance with Mitsuru.
Yuko Nishiwaki

Requirements:
- Join the Track and Field team
- Walk Yuko home twice after joining
Romancing Yuko Nishiwaki can be done early in Persona 3 Reload. After joining the Track and Field team, you’ll have two separate encounters that allow you to walk Yuko home. Make sure you take these chances, and you’ll unlock her Social Link Rank.
She’s pretty upfront about her attraction to you, so it’s pretty hard to miss. Just keep making her feel validated after unlocking her Social Link Rank, and you’ll reach level 9 in no time, after which you can make this Persona 3 Reload romance official.
Yukari Takeba

Requirements:
- Charm Rank 6
Just reach Charm Level 6 to unlock Yukari Takeba‘s Social Link Rank. This can take a while, but afterwards, you’ll finally be able to build a real romance with Yukari.
Fuuka Yamagishi

Requirements:
- Courage Rank 6
- Join the Art Club
Make sure you’re in the Art Club and have Courage Rank 6 anytime after June 17th. At this point, you can speak to Fuuka Yamagishi and begin her romance. She doesn’t open up easily, and makes you work to pick up on her softer side.
Aigis

Requirements:
- Speak to Aigis in Classroom 2F after she joins
Probably the best Persona 3 Reload romance, Aigis might also be the easiest. To unlock her Social Link Rank, all you need to do is speak to her after she is recruited to the group. Her romance is adorable and rewarding in equal measure, and, as she’s a robot, you get to see her develop and learn about human emotions for the first time. A must-play romance.
Elizabeth

Elizabeth isn’t a Persona 3 Reload romance option in the traditional sense. Unlike the other girls, she can’t become your girlfriend, and you don’t need to raise her Social Link Rank in order to win her affection.
Instead, all you need to do is complete her Velvet Room requests. Over time, her attraction to the player is made clear through dialogue, and there are a ton of sweet scenes along this questline. Again, she won’t be your girlfriend, but it’s still well worth doing Elizabeth’s romance in Persona 3 Reload.
