The 49ers free agent class have been assigned numbers: Josh Dobbs will wear No. 5

The free agents were officially assigned their numbers

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Chris Conley announced on Instagram that he has a new number. He previously wore No. 84 and will now wear No. 18.

Conley didn’t have to pay for his new number, as punter Mitch Wishnowsky switched from No. 18 to No. 3, which was Ray-Ray McCloud’s old number. McCloud is wearing No. 34 for his new team, the Atlanta Falcons.

The only player not assigned a number that was a newcomer was linebacker DeVondre Campbell.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel will wear No. 1.
