Street Fighter 6 DLC Characters and Base Roster Guide

Street Fighter 6 is one of the biggest successes in the current generation of fighting games. A large part of that success is down to all of the Street Fighter 6 characters. We’ve got fighters who meet every archetype you’re looking for in a Street Fighter game. With the series actively expanding and adding new Street Fighter 6 DLC characters, it isn’t finished either.

With a bigger roster than those older titles though, they can be tricky to keep track of. You can start with the best SF 6 mains for beginners, but you’ll eventually have to try out more of the cast. We’ve got a complete list of all the characters featured in the title.

All Street Fighter 6 Characters

At launch, Street Fighter 6 already had an expansive roster of characters. It’s a bit stripped back compared to the line-up we see in other fighters, but everyone has a definitive role to play. There are plenty of classic characters and new twists to suit the updated gameplay. These are all of the characters we could choose from at the beginning.

Base Roster

It’s not the biggest cast we’ve ever seen in a fighting game. However, Capcom has focused on an element of quality. There’s enough variety in the base roster to make battles dynamic. We still see tons of the core roster in fighting game esports events. However, the DLC characters have expanded the options quite a bit too.

Those are the base level, but what about DLC? There’s a few more characters which have been added and we can expect this list to only grow as time goes on. The most recent is going to be Akuma in Street Fighter 6, the latest DLC character to come to the game. These are all of the releases and everything so far.

We’ll expect to see more fighters added in future patches. We can expect a mix of old and new. Hopefully, there are some exciting new fighters in the works for the rest of our second year with Street Fighter 6. The current additions have been impressive and future characters could completely change the meta.
