Matt Hardy, who has been filming his “Free The Delete” series on YouTube, is rumored to be jumping ship to AEW when his contract expires in March. Some believe that AEW could already be planting the seeds for the Broken One’s eventual debut during a promo with the Dark Order.
The Dark Order’s Uno was seen backstage talking to a shrouded character that has been revealed as the stable’s mysterious and unnamed leader. The first words from this character was “Wonderful!” which is a catchphrase for Matt Hardy’s Broken/Woken character. Whether Hardy’s current plans are to sign with AEW or not, he’s not expected to resign with WWE.
Jeff Hardy, however, is still up in the air. His contract was extended during his injuries and legal battle. Plus, he’s given no indication that he’s wanting to leave the WWE when his contract is up.
