Astute NFL analyst thinks a lot of Las Vegas rookie cornerback
For the third straight year, excellent ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick recently has listed several non-early draft picks who he thinks can become solid NFL players.
It’s a list to pay attention to because Riddick, a former NFL safety who played for the Raiders and who worked in NFL front offices, knows his stuff.
So, it’s worth noting that Las Vegas Raiders’ draft pick made Riddick’s 2024 rookie list. Good for you, Decamerion Richardson, who was a fourth-round pick from Mississippi State. Here is Riddick’s complete 2024 list:
3rd Annual…
Favorite non-first round selections of each team from ‘24 #NFL draft that could
be major impact players by year 3 or sooner. Tried to not just pick obvious 2nd rounders.ARZ: Isaiah Adams – G – Illinois
ATL: Bralen Trice – DE – Washington
BLT: Adisa Isaac – OLB -…— Louis Riddick (@LRiddickESPN) May 2, 2024
Richardson has ideal NFL size and speed for a cornerback. He may need a little time to develop, but as Riddick notes, this is a player to keep an eye on in the near future.
