Seth Rollins Names Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock As His Wrestling Mt. Rushmore

on

WWE superstar Seth Rollins recently appeared on 103.5 KISS FM radio where the former Universal champion discussed the pro-wrestlers who initially captured his imagination when he was a kid. Rollins talks about icons such as the Ultimate Warrior and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and how their characters sucked him into the business.

I just loved it from the get-go. They are live-action superheroes. When I was growing up, I was four years old when Hulkamania was running wild. Him, The Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, Mr. Perfect, Rick “The Model” Martel, Jake “The Snake” Roberts – the characters just sucked me in.

Later, Rollins would reveal the four wrestlers he would put on his wrestlin Mt. Rushmore, which included Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steven Austin, The Rock, and the Nature Boy Ric Flair. The Architect did also name-drop Shawn Michaels and Triple H as key factors in the longevity of the industry.

My Mt. Rushmore is probably Hogan, Rock, Flair and maybe Austin…Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler of all-time and I’d love to put him on that Mt. Rushmore and Triple H has contributed so much to the longevity of the business. But from a money-drawing perspective, those are still my top four.
