Samuel Gigot evokes the breathtaking end of the season in Ligue 1

Asked by former PSG player Jérôme Rothen on his eponymous show on RMC, the French central defender Samuel Gigot delivered on the end of the season expected by his club, Olympique de Marseille, just six days from its end. As a reminder, in the championship standings, OM are runners-up to PSG, with a point ahead of RC Lens, which completes the podium, and six ahead of AS Monaco.

“There is no euphoria, we have our feet on the ground. It’s true that it was an important match, with the scenario which was favorable for us. We’re very happy, we know we’re in the final sprint. Each game will be a final. So we’re focused on our end-of-season goal. (…) We have had some difficult results lately at the Stade Vélodrome. We are focused on our match on Sunday (against AJ Auxerre, editor’s note) because it is the most important.
