Rumor Roundup: Jimmy Uso injury, Jacob Fatu, Undertaker, WWE Draft, more!

Rumors for the Day:

• Jimmy Uso’s name wasn’t in the WWE Draft pools released yesterday because he’s out with an undisclosed injury, says Fightful Select. No word on how long Jimmy will be sidelined.
• After previously reporting that Jacob Fatu could debut for WWE as soon as this week, PW Insider Elite is now hearing Fatu won’t be at this Friday’s television taping. He is signed and there are plans in place for him, but with Bloodline creative laid out “meticulously” there’s no rush.
• Undertaker signed a new legends deal with WWE sometime around WrestleMania, according to PW Insider.
• Jon Moxley told Sports Illustrated he’s still on a “handshake deal” with New Japan.
• Cameron Grimes release was “unexpected by many in the company”, according to Fightful Select. That was because of his skill set & experience level, how he was able to get over during his NXT run, and that WWE was still bringing him in for SmackDowns even though they weren’t using him on TV.
• Baron Corbin is now “planned to be drafted back to the main roster in the WWE Draft”, says Fightful’s Corey Brennan.
• Def Rebel, who’ve produced WWE’s music since 2019, did a remix of Randy Orton’s theme for his return last November. Orton turned it down within minutes of hearing it, per Brennan on Fightful’s YouTube.
• PW Insider says Sami Callihan has not signed with MLW or TNA, but will continue to work with both while remaining “100% a free agent”.
