Addressing the rumors, Rohit has emphasized the need for official confirmation.

“We haven’t finalized anything yet regarding who will open at the World Cup,” he stated in a recent podcast with Club Prairie Fire. “In today’s world, anything you hear that isn’t confirmed by me, Rahul Dravid (Head Coach), or Ajit Agarkar (Chief Selector), should be considered speculation.”
