Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/29/24

The NFL Draft has concluded and we’ve had a little bit of time to process which players the Los Angeles Rams have added. I still need to do my work and research for the new acquired players, but it does seem that many feal LA had a nice draft. Did you have a favorite player that LA selected? Maybe you felt they got the best value for a certain player in a certain round. Any player you are dissapointed that LA didn’t add?

Please comment on whatever you’d like and have a good Monday! Thanks for checking out Turfshowtimes.

Rams 2024 NFL draft: Grading every pick by Los Angeles (ramswire)

“This was a home run for the Rams. Not only did they get one of the best defenders in the entire class, but they didn’t have to trade up for him after many believed Verse could go in the top 10, or at least the first 15 picks. Verse is a violent defender with outstanding play speed and power on the edge, so he’s going to make an impact right away for the Rams. The Rams would’ve had a hard time doing much better than this with their first pick.”

Oklahoma wide receiver Drake Stoops signs with Los Angeles Rams (on3.com)

“Drake Stoops was always going to be a fan favorite, being the son of former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops. But he was able to produce on the field as well, being a critical part of the Sooners during his time in Norman. Now heading into the NFL world, his dream is being fulfilled as an undrafted free agent

The Los Angeles Rams have signed Stoops, his agent Kelli Masters announced on Saturday night. Stoops will have the opportunity to work under head coach Sean McVay and begin the battle of making the 53-man roster this fall.”

First pass LA Rams 53-man roster predictions after NFL Draft (ramblinfan)

“Larrell Murchison, Bobby Brown III, Kobie Turner, Desjuan Johnson, Braden Fiske, Tyler Davis, Anthony Goodlow (UDFA)

Others: Cory Durden, David Olajiga (UDFA), DT Tuli Letuligasenoa (UDFA)

The Rams will lean heavily on returning veterans, but this an entirely new cast of characters who will need to fast-track through the learning curve of working together. There will be a surprise or two in the depth chart.

Outside linebackers

Byron Young, Michael Hoecht, Jared Verse, Brennan Jackson

Others: Ochaun Mathis, Zach VanValkenburg, Keir Thomas, Nick Hampton”
