Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/26/24

If you are reading this than the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft should have occurred. What did the Los Angeles Rams do? Are you happy with their selection? There’s going to be plenty of articles and each fanbase should have some real news to cover and some new ideas to speculate on. It’s exciting!

I am writing this before the draft (not sure if I’ll update anything post draft or not) but hopefully it’ll be a fun night! Not to be cliche but the first found has so much hype around and it’s hard not to consider it one coolest things we see over the course of a NFL season. did the first round deliver? Did the Rams deliver?

Jordan Brand Signs NFL Stars Maxx Crosby & Puka Nacua (www.si.com)

Perturbed Travis Kelce thought the Rams were drafting him until Andy Reid phone call ‘made life better’ (talksport.com)

“The University of Cincinnati alum once recounted getting a call from the Missouri area code on the eve of the 2013 draft.

Kelce automatically assumed it was the success-starved St. Louis Rams – who moved to Los Angeles in 2016 – calling about potentially selecting him.

“In my head I’m like, ‘Saint Louis?’” a visibly pained Kelce recalled.

“Come on, I don’t even want to answer this.”

Fortunately for Kelce, it turned out to be a call from the other Missouri-based team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Specifically, it was a personal call from head coach Andy Reid about the prospect of Kelce joining his team.”

With help from Zillow, the team turned the 9,150-square-foot mansion into a war room that has a game room, lounge, pool, and a covered bar and patio to go with a scenic view of the Pacific Ocean.

Rams memorabilia is also displayed throughout the mansion. A jacket honoring Puka Nacua’s record rookie season, custom-cut records honoring current players and franchise icons, platinum records that honor each of the team’s Super Bowl championships, gold records honoring memorable selections made by general manager Les Snead, posters and jerseys of Rams players are among the items decorating the mansion.”
