Guard KT Leveston is the Rams final pick of the 2024 draft

With the 254th pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams selected guard KT Leveston out of Kansas State.

Leveston played left tackle for most of his career at Kansas State, starting as a redshirt sophomore in 2020. He was projected as a fifth round pick by Lance Zierlein, so perhaps there’s some value there to get him right before the end of the draft. He is compared to Jermaine Eluemunor, a veteran journeyman that would make a great outcome for this pick.

Full-time college tackle who might need to become a full-time guard in order to minimize his weaknesses and maximize his strengths. Leveston doesn’t play with the best pad level but still flashes impressive pop and an ability to maul and strain at the point of attack. His hands and body control get sloppy at times and could limit his consistency against NFL competition. Leveston’s background in pass protection at tackle should help with a move inside to guard, but only if he’s quicker with his punch. Leveston doesn’t always look fluid and clean, but he has the power traits to become a good backup who can step in and start if needed.

On the Rams

KT Leveston is the latest in a long line of day three Les Snead picks on the offensive line. That includes former starters like David Edwards and Brian Allen. Leveston should compete to make the 53-man roster but might end up on the practice squad.
