Florida wide receiver has ties to Las Vegas’ coaching staff

An interesting player for the Las Vegas Raiders to consider is Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who has key ties to the team.

Let’s take a closer look at Pearsall:

Size:

6-1, 190 pounds.

2023 Stats:
He had 68 catches for 968 yards (a 14.4 yards per catch average) with four touchdowns,

Career highlights:

He started every game in 2023 for the Gators. Pearsall had 159 catches and 14 touchdowns at Florida and Arizona State. He was Honorable Mention All-PAc-12 in 2021. He played in the 2024 Senior Bowl.

Ties to Las Vegas:

He was at Arizona State with Raiders’ head coach Antonio Pierce and assistant head coach Marvin Lewis for three seasons.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

He’s a good sized slot receiver who has potential to play a lot. The Raiders don’t have a huge need for a slot, but if Pierce feels strongly about Pearsall, they could find room for him.

What’s his draft range?

It’s a strong draft class for wide receivers, but still he’s considered a solid Day 2 pick. If the Raiders acquire more Day 2 picks, perhaps Pearsall could reunite with his former Arizona State coaches.
