The team took care of business ahead of their rookie minicamp
The Carolina Panthers have announced the signing of all seven members of their 2024 NFL Draft class in advance of this weekend’s rookie minicamp. That means every healthy body from Xavier Legette (the no. 32 overall pick) to Michael Barrett (the no. 240 overall pick) will be on the field this weekend. That also means no Jonathon Brooks yet.
Rookie minicamp begins today at the team’s facility in Charlotte and continues through tomorrow. It is not open to the public.
The team has also announced jersey numbers for the event. It is worth repeating from their announcement that these are not necessarily the numbers these players will be wearing in the regular season.
This is also your reminder that the emphasis at this event is on the rookies. There will be no veterans, including Bryce Young, on the field. This is for the draft class and the team’s roster of undrafted free agent signings.
