It’s a simple question: thumbs up or thumbs down to how the Packers handled this year’s draft:

Sometimes, the simplest questions can yield the most meaningful answers. That’s a theory we are trying to test with this week’s Reacts survey about the Green Bay Packers. The question is simple: would you consider the Packers “winners” or “losers” in the 2024 NFL Draft?

Yes, the team missed out on a couple of players who were frequent mock draft picks, and an observer’s viewpoint could be shaded by an affinity for a certain player or two. (Yes, we’re talking about Graham Barton and Cooper DeJean.) But instead of focusing on the specific players, perhaps it’s worth looking at the overall process — the positions drafted, the moves down and up the draft board, and the general approach to drafting multiple players at the same position.

That latter strategy is something the Packers have done with regularity under Brian Gutekunst. Sure, it has been pass-catchers the last few years, but when Gutekunst sees a need, he attacks it with multiple picks, usually a couple of later selections to provide some additional depth and opportunity for hits after investing an early pick in that position.

So give us your quick thumbs up/thumbs down take on the Packers’ draft, and we’ll be back here with the results shortly.
