The 2024 league year officially opens for business at 3:00 p.m. CT today! Free agency and trades can become official, and teams need to be under the salary cap.

The Chicago Bears were a bit more active on day two of the early negotiating period, with tight end Gerald Everett and safety Jonathan Owens inked yesterday. They join Chicago’s day one pick up, running back D’Andre Swift. These deals and the trade for Ryan Bates should officially be announced today at 3:00 p.m. (CT) when the NFL opens its league year.
