Andrew Berry picking a cornerback is almost a guarantee at this point
In the final round of the 2024 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns made what now looks like an obvious pick. First, GM Andrew Berry drafting a cornerback is close to certain. Second, a defender named “Myles” worked out at least once before for the team.
CB Myles Harden is a feisty slot corner who should also see time on special teams.
With DT Michael Hall Jr. and LB Nathaniel Watson, Harden means Cleveland has added to all three levels of the defense in the 2024 NFL draft.
Harden joins one of, if not the, best cornerback rooms in the NFL. Here is the Browns CB depth chart:
- Denzel Ward
- Greg Newsome II
- Martin Emerson Jr.
- Cameron Mitchell
- Kahlef Hailassie
- Myles Harden
- Tony Brown
- Vincent Gray
- Justin Hardee
Brown and Hardee were added due to their special teams prowess which could make things difficult for Harden and the rest near the bottom of the depth chart.
