NFL Draft grades: Titans fans grade the JC Latham pick

How did fans grade the Titans first round pick?

Last night I posted a poll asking you to grade the Tennessee Titans first round pick of Alabama OT JC Latham. Here are the results:

76% of you gave Ran Carthon and company at least a B for the Latham pick. If you are someone that gave the Titans a C or lower for the pick, I’d love to hear your reasoning. My guess is it falls into one of two camps:

The first is that Latham was a right tackle in college and you have concern that they drafted him to play left tackle.

The second is that you would have liked to see them take Rome Odunze with the pick.

Those are both perfectly reasonable issues with the pick. I’d be terribly concerned about the first one if they didn’t have Bill Callahan on staff. He already converted one former right tackle from Alabama into a really good left tackle in the NFL in Jedrick Willis. No reason to think that he can’t do it again.

As for the second one, I don’t blame you for that. It would have been really fun to add Odunze to this receiver room. That will be something to keep an eye on as the two guys’ careers play out in the NFL.
