Which wide receiver rounds out the Houston Texans top 4? – Battle Red Blog
Who would the Texans’ WR4 be? John Metchie? Xavier Hutchinson? Robert Woods? Draft pick?

Those three men are likely a lock for the top receiver spots. But that leaves room for one more player to rise and shine. And possibly a fifth to sneak into the highlight reels on occasion. But, most pass happy teams rarely field more than four receivers at once and the fifth WR on the depth chart rarely makes noise. So, for today, we’ll focus on who will be Houston’s WR4 in 2024.

Grading the Houston Texans’ Defense Pre-Draft Depth Chart – Battle Red Blog
Texans defense is top heavy and the “depth” chart is kiddy pool deep.

Nick Caserio has done a fairly good job at filling in holes across the defense. He’s added top end talent at premium positions while taking several rolls of the dice on the secondary. Any mock draft prognosticator or draft analyst knows Houston needs to add more talent on defense.

Indianapolis Colts (via Stampede Blue)

Michael Pittman Jr. believes Colts can have the best RPO game in the NFL – Stampede Blue
Michael Pittman Jr. believes in the Colts’ elite talent and potential, especially regarding their dynamic RPO game behind center—which is just getting started.

However, it’s scary to think of the sky-high potential between these two elite level athletes complementing one another, keeping defenses off-balance (being forced to make key decisions in split-seconds), and rushing the football at their respective positions with big running lanes (*and when they’re not running, Richardson throwing it)—especially considering the combo of Richardson and Taylor played just two snaps together last season.

DeForest Buckner’s new contract with the Colts lowers the 2024 cap hit, but what’s it really matter? – Stampede Blue
The Colts saved some cash on the cap this year. At the end of the day, what does it all mean?

With this extension and restructuring, Buckner’s cap hit for 2024 falls from around $23 million to $8 million. That provides some major flexibility and ability to do more with the roster before the start of the season. The question is, will the Colts do anything with it? To that, there are some doubts as to the immediate impact as expressed by Stampede Blues’ Compton5.

Tennessee Titans (via Music City Miracles)

3 Dream Scenarios for the Tennessee Titans in the 2024 NFL Draft – Music City Miracles
These three outcomes would signal a perfect 2024 NFL Draft for the Tennessee Titans

Ran Carthon and Brian Callahan need to draft talented prospects that are capable of developing into contributors on day three. Both Carthon and Callahan came to Tennessee from annual Super Bowl contending organizations that did a great job of reshaping their rosters through good quality draft picks.

2024 NFL Draft: How high would you be comfortable with the Titans taking Brock Bowers? – Music City Miracles
Where Georgia TE Brock Bowers will go is one of the most interesting stories of the 2024 NFL Draft

The Tennessee Titans most likely won’t take Bowers with the seventh overall pick. Sure, he is an offensive weapon that can score touchdowns, which is something that will actually be important to this coaching staff, but they have bigger needs. One of Joe Alt, Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze will likely be available when the Titans are on the clock at seven. They should take any of those guys ahead of Bowers.
